With regret I announce the death of Bill in March of this year, 2000.

We will all miss him very much.

Here is one of Bill's first contributions to the our page. Bill has been living in Tucson, AZ for the past several years:

"The weathermen here haven't had a correct forecast in a month of Sundays. I'd take care of that.

I would just forecast Sunny and Hot and head for the old Naples.

I would be about 96 percent correct."

Bill has not lost it, here is a comment he passed along to me in his recent email:

"As I remember, when you first retired, you were headed for Spain and a life with
the Basques (ed. note-actually it was the Catalans in Andorra.) How did that turn out?"

"I'm sure you have heard about the Spanish bus driver whose bus overturned in the Pyrenees and several people were killed because the door was jammed.

He was charged with
putting all his Basques in one exit."
